The
cave houses are located in Huéscar,
in the province of Granada. This is part of Andalusia that is not
discovered yet by tourists. The village has 8000 inhabitants and is
situated 160 km northeast of the airport of Granada and is easy accessible
by motorway A92N.
![]() In the neighbourhood are several National Nature Parks and lakes, among them Embalse de San Clemente on ca.14 km distance and Embalse de Negratin; a lake of 24 km long and surrounded by red cliffs. In the Parks are marked hiking routes and canoe and peddalboats can be rented at Embalse de Negratin. |

is possible to rent a cave house at Cuevas de la Buena Vida which
is situated in the cave district of Huéscar in a rural area.
In this district live still farmers and shepherds.

nearest airport is situated in Granada (160 km / 100 miles) southwest
from Huéscar. There are also flights to:
